Press in the safety button and push the switch upwards. The arc at the top of the ignition hole lights up and forms an electric current.
To light the wick, continue to hold down the ignition button and move slowly towards the target to light it.
When you are finished, release the switch and it will turn off the power.
CAUTION!
Do not attempt to light the wick for longer than 7 seconds at a time.
