Because the French, owner-managed company is convinced that the hand of man gives a product its soul, ATELIER MATERI does not work with large companies but primarily with artists and craftsmen, from the harvesting of materials to the creation of fragrances, bottles and boxes. Their experienced hands shape, refine and polish each material until it reveals its beauty.
Designed with respect for the value of time and how it affects the development of a product, and crafted from the finest materials, each creation is a minimalist and modern statement. Sustainability at Atelier Materi
Following the principle of short supply chain, Atelier Materi prefers local sourcing and manufacturing in France. The perfumers working for the small company are based in the Grasse region, the stronghold of French fragrance art. The bottle is made in France and Germany, the cap is handmade in a workshop in Brittany, and the box is created near Paris.
Particular attention is paid to the selection of raw materials, ensuring that the work of producers and suppliers respects the environment. The selection of natural ingredients is also fundamentally based on exceptional quality and ecological compatibility, without compromising natural resources. Any form of animal testing is excluded throughout the process at Atelier Materi.

Every single natural raw material is part of the heart of each ATELIER MATERI fragrance. Whether traditional or unexpected, it is created with care, from the best terroir (
totality of natural factors -vine, soil, climate, among others- and cultural influences) and selected with respect for fair trade.
At the heart of the contrasting combinations of fragrances, and contrasting they are indeed, and the careful processing by the perfumer, reveal subtle nuances that in turn develop unexpected and fascinating facets in conjunction with the skin chemistry of its wearer.
