CACAO PORCELANA by Atelier Materi is an elegant and distinctive fragrance, carried by the choice of an unusual ingredient: white cocoa.
This rare white cacao variety grows in the heart of the oldest plantations in Piura, northwestern Peru. The beans are hand-pressed from the pods and fermented before being sun-dried and roasted.
To capture the most beautiful facets of this white cocoa for CACAO PORCELANA, the perfumer collaborated with a French Maître Chocolatier to achieve the perfect roast, revealing sensual nutty and milky notes with an undertone of tonka bean.
After a sweet rum opening, perfumer Marie Hugentobler reveals the addictive bitterness of cocoa, comforted by powdery and woody notes. This is followed by a drydown of light tobacco, patchouli, and sandalwood, giving CACAO PORCELANA its sensual and unique signature.
