Aurélie Ribierre, founder of Midi12, has worked in the cosmetics industry for 15 years, first for a large corporation and then for a family brand. When she founded MIDI12, she wanted to produce sunscreen products that met the highest possible environmental standards. Her considerations included the selection of suppliers, the quality of raw materials, the carbon footprint, and the fight against today's waste in our society.

The story of Midi 12

Aurélie lives in the Bay of La Baule, surrounded by nature with dreamy dawns and sunsets. She experiences sunny beaches as well as healing rainy days there in an intense and invigorating way. In tune with the rhythm of the tides and the seasons!

In her nature-focused life, she is frequently exposed to the sun, summer and winter, and good sun protection is essential. This gave rise to a desire for a previously unavailable protection for her skin and body. It should be sensory, meaning it should smell subtle and nourish the skin, leaving it feeling beautiful. At the same time, it should not be harmful to her body or the nature she loves so much. The idea for Midi 12 was born: a sunscreen that would fulfill all of these requirements and satisfy even the most demanding people.

Aurélie enlisted the expertise of laboratories to develop formulations free of controversial ingredients and with active ingredients from nature.
