How Beachkind was founded

Mona used to run a natural beauty blog and has a keen interest in organic and natural products. In this respect, there's once again an overlap with North Glow. Christian has worked for many years in purchasing, production, and sales in e-commerce and has a passion for product development and branding.

Beachkind was born out of the desire for a sunscreen that smells good—AND—is kind to humans, animals, and the environment. We all know the classic sunscreen brands that smell of summer, tropical drinks, and sunbathing. Unfortunately, these often contain substances that are toxic to marine life and potentially harmful to humans and the environment.

Beachkind saw a strong need here and wanted to do things differently. They set out to give their customers the opportunity to choose a sunscreen that smells good, is functional, and protects the environment. Everyone should have the opportunity to be a beach hero!
