For IRIS EBÈNE, the roots of the iris plant are peeled by hand, washed, air-dried, and finally, after prolonged storage, distilled. The production of the absolute takes over six years, making iris one of perfumery's most valuable raw materials. Its delicate and powdery scent evokes nuances of violet, mimosa, and carrot, with buttery and woody accents.

For the perfume IRIS EBÈNE by Atelier Materi, perfumer Marie Hugentobler selects an exceptional natural iris from the dry valley of the Atlas Mountains.

In Iris Ebène, she creates a composition rich in contrasts, in which the iris reveals its dark and sensual side and blends with woods, balsam and musk.

A soft and textured leather unfolds slowly, leaving an addictive trail as comfortable as a cashmere sweater.
