SeventyOne Percent produces and packages in France, because for the owner-managed company Made in France is not a fashion, but a deep conviction. Out of love for our planet, people and also animals, the company is strictly against animal testing, which they say they would rather know in the wild than in laboratories! The history of SeventyOne Percent
It is the story of two surfers who wanted to combine their love of the waves, nature and sport with a skin protection that would not harm their habitat. Between water, sand and wind, the sunscreen should be both protective and caring. At that time, there were no products on the market that met their needs. So Marc Levy and Raphaël Vannier set out on their own to develop just such a sunscreen with specialists and launched SeventyOne in 2009 with the first sunscreens. The name is derived from the fact that the earth and also the human body are 70% water - and that 1% of the proceeds go to the Vision du Monde organization, which helps disadvantaged children. SeventyOne Percent remains true to its principles today and follows the Mother Earth Approved guidelines, which call for a strong commitment to environmental and social issues, as well as respect for the consumer.
