Forest Rhapsody Skincare was born out of a desire to develop formulas that set new standards. We harvest next-generation bioactives to develop modern interpretations of ancient beauty rituals from Southeast Asia, based on the belief that modern science and ancient wisdom can harmoniously coexist.
We are committed to formulating intelligent and sophisticated skincare solutions that boldly celebrate "green" chemistry while paying homage to ancient beauty rituals by creating products that are both powerful and enjoyable.

We rely on a rigorous internal process and select proven active ingredients that are supported by clinical studies before conducting multiple trials in our lab over months and years to develop formulas that deliver exceptional results.Our formulations are a balance between the rigor of scientifically sound research and the centuries-old plants used throughout Southeast Asia. Green Chemistry
We celebrate green chemistry by drawing heavily on nature while also incorporating science. We don't shy away from ingredients that are often misunderstood in the "green beauty" category, such as emulsifiers and preservatives. Instead, we look for the most advanced alternatives to these ingredients, such as Ecocert/Cosmos-approved ingredients and NSF-certified preservatives, to develop effective, elegant and pampering formulas.
Sustainability
We believe it is important to leave a place better than we found it. Our skincare products come in recyclable jars or bottles - we hope you will support our sustainability efforts by finding new ways to reuse or recycle the packaging.
Cruelty-free
Our products are cruelty-free and we do not conduct animal testing for any of our end products.
A few words from the founder
I have always had an affinity for nature. Growing up in Singapore, in Southeast Asia, I was the daughter of an avid nature lover. Early on, I began to explore the symbiotic relationship between plants and science - I spent my childhood outdoors among plants, trees and medicinal herbs, and it was in this environment that the first seeds of Forest Rhapsody were planted.
During both pregnancies, I struggled with severe and aggressive bouts of hormonally induced cystic acne. Many of my skincare products exacerbated my skin condition and had to be omitted. After pregnancy, my skin simply lost its resilience. It became easily sensitive and I was forced to re-evaluate my skincare routine and all the products I knew and used. During this time of experimentation, I fluctuated wildly between numerous aggressive active ingredients prescribed to me by top dermatologists and overly simplified formulas that took all the joy out of my daily skincare routine.
This experience forced me to look for gentle but effective alternatives to the traditional active ingredients that were available to me until then. Intuitively, I turned to plants in search of solutions - the use of clinically proven plant-based bioactives was without a doubt the optimal solution. Many of these state-of-the-art active ingredients come from plants that I grew up with and learned and understood. They are close to my heart, and I have seen firsthand how these plant-based ingredients are incorporated into the daily beauty rituals of women in this region.
Through rigorous research, endless experimentation and numerous trials, I work with a team of chemists to explore innovative ingredients and develop a revolutionary skincare line based on plant-based bioactives.
