XX Rose Glycolic Gel - Gentle fruit acid gel serum for sensitive skin

Glycolic acid is a hero when it comes to gently cleansing skin and leaving it looking smooth, clear, and radiant. XX Rose Glycolic Gel contains 10% glycolic acid in a soothing rose water base to hydrate and soothe skin while exfoliating.

Glycolic acid belongs to the group of "fruit acids," also known as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). It is one of the cosmetic active ingredients whose effectiveness has been scientifically proven. Like the other AHAs, glycolic acid removes dead skin cells and also has a positive effect on pigmentation, skin aging, and dry skin. The latter is particularly effective because regularly "exfoliated" skin can better retain moisture. Pigmentation that forms in the upper layers of the skin becomes less visible.

Fermentation is a process in which an organic substance is enzymatically converted by special microorganisms, such as bacteria, fungi, or other cell cultures—often using oxygen. Fermentation produces effective nutrients that cannot be produced by any other (chemical) process and are normally only of animal origin. Fermentation also increases the bioavailability of the ingredients in skin care products.
