Discover the fascinating vetiver oil, which captures the complex aromas of the earth. This oil is extracted from the roots of the vetiver grass in Haiti and is known for its special properties. It has an earthy, balsamic scent reminiscent of forests and swamps and can create a harmonizing atmosphere.

Vetiver has traditionally been used to improve soil quality and prevent erosion. The oil is obtained by harvesting and distilling the plant's roots. Vetiver oil is known for its use in perfumes as a fixative to extend the shelf life of lighter fragrances. It is a versatile essential oil also used in massage oils.

Uses and properties of vetiver oil:

Aromatic profile : Earthy, balsamic, root-like scent.
Blends well with : Ylang-Ylang, Sandalwood, Clary Sage, Patchouli, Jatamansi, Angelica and Lavender.
Uses : Often used in aromatic applications and cosmetic products to create a harmonious atmosphere.

Application

Massage or perfume oil: The deliciously rich, sensual, and earthy aroma of vetiver is one of nature's most attractive perfumes. Because vetiver is a very strong base note, it can easily overpower other oils. In perfumery, it is recommended to limit the amount of vetiver to 5% of the total essential oils when combining oils.

This oil is also extremely persistent; a drop of vetiver can remain on the skin for many days.

Other recommended uses:

To soothe and care for hot, red, or dry skin, add a drop of vetiver oil to your favorite chemical-free, unscented face or body cream or oil.

How long does shipping take?

The delivery period begins upon conclusion of the contract.

Can I return my order?

Yes. You can return your order to us within 14 days of delivery. A refund is only possible if the items are: · in their original packaging · unused · undamaged.

Return shipping costs

For defective or incorrectly delivered items, we will cover the return shipping costs. In all other cases, the return shipping costs within Germany are a flat rate of €6.95. This amount will be deducted from the refund. Alternatively, you can return the goods to us securely packaged at your own expense. In this case, no return or processing fee will be deducted from the refund. Uncollected shipments (e.g., from a branch or parcel locker) and refused packages returned to us are also considered returns and will be charged the aforementioned return and processing fee of €6.95.
