This beautiful and therapeutic facial mist from Bulgaria's Rose Valley is an excellent remedy for inner and outer beauty. The energetic properties of the rose are known to have a heart-opening, calming, and relaxing effect. Rose water, rich in astringent and toning compounds, is also proven soothing for a variety of skin types and an effective remedy for relieving flare-ups and inflammation.
The long history of the rose as an aromatic treasure and symbol of beauty dates back to ancient Persia. It is believed that Ottoman merchants first brought roses to Bulgaria in the 16th century. The valley's unique climate and soil conditions at the foot of the Balkan Mountains make it the perfect place for roses to thrive. Since then, it has been known as the Valley of Roses. In early summer, people from all over the world gather to celebrate the lush bounty of the annual rose harvest with dancing, singing, food, and, of course, rose picking.
