The hibiscus flower, also known as karkade, is traditionally used in Hawaii to dye ceremonial clothing and tribal tattoos. Its dried petals not only make a vitamin C-rich tea—they also give this lip color its exceptional vibrancy.

The nourishing waxes of Le Rouge Maunaloa No 013 lipstick are activated faster and the application is even smoother if you warm the lipstick to room temperature before applying it - in most cases, simply breathing on it gently with your own breath is enough.
When applied once, Le Rouge Francais lipsticks provide a light shade of color.
For a more intense tone, you can simply build up the color in each layer.
