Active ingredients:

Shea butter : repairing and nourishing
Apricot, sunflower & castor oil : Moisturize and provide antioxidant protection
Vegetable rice bran, candelilla & carnauba wax : Protect and soften the lips

The pigment – madder root with a millennia-old beauty tradition
The intense red color comes from the plant alizarin, extracted from the madder plant (Rubia tinctorum). Cleopatra used madder to accentuate her lips. Fabrics dyed with madder have been discovered in Tutankhamun's tomb, the ruins of Pompeii, and ancient Corinth—a testament to its cultural and historical significance. Alizarin is also known for its remarkable biological properties.

Application

The nourishing waxes in Le Rouge Tinctorial No. 011 Alizarine lipstick activate faster, making application even smoother, if you warm the lipstick to room temperature before applying it. Gently breathing on it with your own breath is usually enough.

When applied once, Le Rouge Francais lipsticks provide a light shade of color.

For a more intense tone, you can simply build up the color in each layer.

How long does shipping take?

Unless a different delivery time is specified for the respective item, the delivery time is **approx. 1–3 working days within Germany**.
The delivery period begins upon conclusion of the contract.

Should an item be temporarily unavailable, we reserve the right to make **reasonable partial deliveries**. In this case, shipping costs will only be charged once.

Can I return my order?

Yes. You can return your order to us within 14 days of delivery. A refund is only possible if the items are: · in their original packaging · unused · undamaged.

Return shipping costs

For defective or incorrectly delivered items, we will cover the return shipping costs. In all other cases, the return shipping costs within Germany are a flat rate of €6.95. This amount will be deducted from the refund. Alternatively, you can return the goods to us securely packaged at your own expense. In this case, no return or processing fee will be deducted from the refund. Uncollected shipments (e.g., from a branch or parcel locker) and refused packages returned to us are also considered returns and will be charged the aforementioned return and processing fee of €6.95.
