Le Rose Tinctorial Licandre lipstick by Le Rouge Francais is vegan and contains nourishing plant-based waxes from rice, carnauba, and candelilla. They protect your lips and make them soft and supple. The color Licandre is a nude with a pinkish rosewood tint combined with an innocent powder pink.
Natural color pigment of Le Rose Tinctorial Licandre No 040 lipstick
Produced by Greek and Middle Eastern oak species, Rhus semialata , also called walnut , is rich in gallic acid, which produces a pigment still used today to dye wool for traditional carpets.
This pigment is known for its incredible biological properties.
The power of plant-based pigments creates a color that adapts to the natural tone and pH of your lips.
A unique formulation:
- Shea butter: repairing and nourishing
- Jojoba, apricot, sunflower and castor oil: moisturizing and antioxidant properties
- Plant-based rice bran, candelilla and carnauba wax: softening and protective

This lipstick does not contain synthetic pigments, titanium dioxide, mica, synthetic fragrances, BHT, BHA, artificial preservatives, silicones, squalene, dyes, or animal-derived ingredients.

The nourishing waxes in Le Rose Tinctorial LICANDRE No. 040 lipstick activate faster, making application even smoother, if you warm the lipstick to room temperature before applying it. Gently breathing on it with your own breath is usually enough.
When applied once, Le Rouge Francais lipsticks provide a light shade of color.
For a more intense tone, you can simply build up the color in each layer.
