Facial massage with the Kansa Wand helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and stimulates the skin's energy and detoxification processes. Performed weekly, facial massage promotes your skin's health, its ability to absorb nutrients from high-quality products, and the elimination of waste and environmental toxins.

The teachings and practices of Ayurveda have known the Kansas wand, crafted at Ranavat from teakwood and a "sacred" blend of copper and tin, for over 5,000 years. When used with a fine oil-based product, such as a facial oil or Ranavat's Saffron Serum, it reduces swelling, firms, and softens fine wrinkles by increasing blood circulation and lymph flow. Depending on the skin condition and the skin's acidity, massage with the Kansa Wand can release acids into the skin. You can recognize this by a slightly grayish film, which you can then wash off with water.

The mixture of copper and tin is said to lower the skin's pH, thus soothing irritation and redness. According to Ayurvedic teachings, the mixture is said to stimulate the skin's healing ability even more than gold and silver.

In addition to the healing blend of materials, the facial massage stimulates lymphatic flow and blood circulation in the skin. The facial muscles relax, and your skin becomes rosy and fresh.

Use weekly with an oil-based product, such as a facial oil or oil-based serum, such as Ranavat's Radiant Rani Brightening Saffron Serum (sold separately).

First, massage the product onto your face with warm hands. Then, use the Kansa Wand.

Gently massage the forehead, jaw muscles and cheekbones in circular motions for 10 to 15 minutes

We describe a few selected massage options as follows:

- Massage the wand in a circular motion around the center of your forehead. First, a few times in one direction, then a few more times in the opposite direction. You should massage at least five circles in each direction.

- Also very relaxing and sensual: move your Kansas wand several times in a horizontal figure eight across your forehead. This movement helps you relax and affects not only your skin but also your mind.

- To massage the jaw muscles, we recommend clenching your teeth slightly. This will cause the jaw muscles to protrude at the back of your cheeks. Gently massage this point with circular movements.

- Starting below the cheekbone Move the Kansas wand in circular motions along the lower edge of the cheekbone. Gently tense the facial muscles to ensure the massage reaches the area. Do not tense too tightly, allowing the muscles to relax during the massage.

- Move the Kansas wand several times with slightly firmer pressure from the earlobe to the corner of the mouth and back again.

- Guide the Kansas wand along the jawline from the ear down along the jaw to the chin and back again. When massaging the bone, be careful not to apply too much pressure.

A grayish film may appear on the skin, indicating that acids are being released to detoxify the skin; this is washed off with warm water.

Care instructions
Wipe the wand with a cloth after each use to remove any oil residue. Occasionally, you can also thoroughly clean the front metal cap with soap and water or with a paste made from tea tree oil and clay.
