Candle care – How to get the best out of your candle

To ensure that you enjoy your candle for a long time and that it burns safely and cleanly, please note the following tips:

When first lit
When using the candle for the first time, let it burn for at least 2 hours until the entire surface has melted. This will prevent uneven burning and cratering.

Maximum burning time
Do n't let your candle burn for longer than 4 hours at a time . This will keep the jar intact and ensure optimal fragrance development.

Shorten the wick
Before each lighting, trim the wick to about 5 mm . This reduces soot buildup, ensures a steady flame, and protects the glass from overheating.

Set up safely
Please keep the candle out of reach of children and pets and never leave it burning unattended .

Caution: Hot!
The glass can become very hot during burning – make sure to place it only on heat-resistant surfaces and allow it to cool sufficiently after extinguishing.
