Aromatic profile:
Aroma: light with delicate earthy notes that round out a soft, herbaceous and slightly spicy bouquet.
Blends well with: Myrrh, sandalwood, lavender, clary sage, cypress, lemon and cinnamon.
Massage or perfume oil: The aroma of patchouli is rich, sensual and earthy. Because it is a very strong base note, it can easily overpower other oils. In perfumery and essential oil fixation, it is recommended to limit the amount of patchouli to 5% or less of the total oil. Start with one drop and allow some time to pass before adding more to your blend. If you like your essential oil blend, you can mix it with a few drops of your favorite carrier oil. This blend can be used for a massage, or you can simply rub a few drops of it on your wrist.

Direct palm inhalation: Diluted in a high quality carrier oil such as marula or jojoba oil, Patchouli oil can be used by direct palm inhalation.
Aromatic Bath: Add it to a relaxing bath oil blend.
