Cleopatra's Body Scrub

Long sought, finally found: Wellness in the bathroom "in organic"
The name says it all. With the exception of the idea that Cleopatra and bath or shower is more like milk and honey. But never mind, the scent is all around me as soon as I open the jar. A delicate and non-intrusive note of rose petals and a subliminal oily scent that I can't quite place.

Considering the ingredients, however, it can only be the Ylang-Ylang oil. After showering, my skin feels wonderfully soft and delicate and has a light scent of roses. This body peeling achieves this through the combination of sugar peeling and body oil, which is now more frequently found. Actually, I am not so keen on combination products. But in this case the combination makes sense.

Before I completely devoted myself to natural cosmetics, I knew this combination from conventional brands. Here and there I also found a version in natural cosmetics, but unfortunately never really on the level I expect, i.e. as a composition of care, fragrance, appealing jar and high-quality ingredients. Until now.

The Organic Pharmacy is anyway a brand that in my opinion belongs to the top brands in the natural cosmetics industry. No other facial care has ever achieved the same effect as the products of this label. And at the same time it meets all my requirements. More on this in a separate article.

The label was founded by Margo Marrone (see video on YouTube), a pharmacist who already specialized in the core areas of herbal medicine, nutrition and well-being with a focus on natural and alternative medicine during her studies. Her training in homeopathy, which was added a few years later, completely changed her image of cosmetics and nutrition and led her to create her own product line. Her principles are as clear as the design of the jars: the best organic ingredients, honest advice, quality service, incredibly effective products and a caring environment. The Tigel is aesthetic and high quality, transparent and heavy. I like it very much. I can't say the same about all the jars of this brand, but here it's absolutely true. With a price of about 50€ this is certainly to be expected.

The ingredients are fantastic! Sucrose and fine sea salt provide the peeling effect. As oil components, the peeling contains, in addition to various flower oils, right at the front is the oil of the Damascene rose, rich and nourishing olive oil. Thus the ingredients also justify the price level and underpin the philosophy of the London label.

Conclusion: I find it really good! An absolute benefit in my shower. High-quality ingredients, a beautiful scent, an appealing and modern jar and an absolute wellness feeling while showering. Thus, a simple routine procedure becomes a little feel-good experience. From now on this peeling is a permanent feature in my bathroom.
